However, two rough guesses are that the main surviving societies should be in the northeast and southwest parts of this map; the climate will be more tolerable nearer to the poles, and the ocean&#039;s deeper there (see the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.enderra.com/blog/article/mapping-arnaron-ocean-currents&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Ocean Currents map&lt;/a&gt;, for the trench locations).
