Check out this guy for example... and yes, as I said (on day 7 ;) ) I'd love to know how "real" this is. I have no doubt that it CAN be done, but it has got to contain a lot of rambling or filler material.

Who are these crazy 250k people? And I'm wondering if it's even real word count or if they're simply lying or perhaps it's just ridiculous ramblings?

Thank you. I do appreciate the encouragement from you guys.

It's hard to say how much time I spend I writing per day, but I think it's possible to squeeze it in. I don't want to be presumptuous in giving writing advice - that's really not my area of expertise - and maybe you are already doing something like this, but I always have a notepad with me so I can jot down ideas and outlines in the subway, etc. A lot of Arnâron was created that way, for example. Think about what you are gonna write while you are away from the keyboard, so that when you have the time, you can just spew out the word count.

By the way, if you think I am doing well.. there are people who wrote 250,000 words or more by now... I am not sure I could do that even if I just rambled :P

You are just going crazy with this! I'm still way back at 8k. I am admittedly behind. It's really hell for me to try and do all of this with work full time + grad school + several other commitments. If I win NaNoWriMo, it'll be by the skin of my teeth! Now, that being said, I intend to win. :)

Keep up the great work! You're inspiring us all.
