Considering I am still a noob at using The Gimp, I think it came out fairly well. No real reason for doing this, except as a practice edit.
I decided to release the following image under the Creative Commons Attribution license. Please credit me with a link back to http://www.enderra.com – Happy mapping!
Click on the thumbnail above to get the original size at 4096×4096 pixels; it’s 6MB as a PNG file.
The image is based on a NASA image of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Tsojcanth had an awesome idea, one-page-dungeon designs in an organizer like notepad booklet. Whatever do you call those? Anyway, he took small notebook and put maps and notes into it. I absolutely love this idea, and I am going to steal it – I put some of these notebooks into my Amazon shopping cart already.
An attempt at a logo design for a fantasy Mars:

Not perfect, but not too bad either if I may say so myself. Just needs some work.
Update: I updated the image and added a caption, too – “Under the Moons of Mars”, the original title of “A Princess of Mars“. I actually like it now.
Update II: I moved this from my personal blog in an attempt to clean up the later…
Just experimenting.

Jump Route: Cover Design
“Jump Route” is one title I am considering for the setting currently known as Voyagers, consider it a working title.
The Milky Way Galaxy was made by Nick Risinger, based on NASA images, and is in the Public Domain.

Here’s my latest entry to the CD-Cover game – I haven’t posted these in a while. And, before you ask: #8 is not missing, but the licensing of the base image I used changed so it’ll have to wait until I clear that up.

Cliffside: The Best Accessory
Original Art: Senales, by José María Pérez Nuñez; cc-by-nc.
From the looks of it, Cliffside is probably an “artsy” band…
