An attempt at a logo design for a fantasy Mars:
Not perfect, but not too bad either if I may say so myself. Just needs some work.
Update: I updated the image and added a caption, too – “Under the Moons of Mars”, the original title of “A Princess of Mars“. I actually like it now.

I think it needs stars.
Good news for everybody who likes “planetary” rings as much as I do. Cassini-Huygens seems to have detected rings around Saturn’s moon Rhea. Until now it was thought that only planets could have rings.
